Lima Senior, Perry get girls basketball wins

Indiya Benjamin (23 points), Michaen Williamson (15 points) and Miercedez Carter (11 points) led Lima Senior to a 71-39 girls basketball win over Oregon Clay on Monday night.

The Spartans (11-3, 7-2 Three Rivers Athletic Conference) led by only two points after one quarter but outscored Clay 49-19 over the next two quarters.

Clay dropped to 1-3 overall and 1-7 in the TRAC.

Perry 60
Temple Christian 32

Abbie Patton scored 14 points, including four 3-pointers, and Teysha Upshaw had 14 points to lead Perry to its Northwest Central Conference win over Temple Christian.

Lindsay Wafzig had 18 point for the Pioneers.

Columbus Grove 46
Fort Jennings 45

Anna Ricker scored 11 points and Katelyn Scott had 10 points for Columbus Grove in its Putnam County League win.

Macy Schroeder scored 12 points and Morgan Schroeder and Kelsey Von Lehmden each scored 11 points for Fort Jennings (4-10, 2-3 PCL).

Liberty-Benton 47
Kalida 35

Caitie Craft scored 27 points and Rachel Myers had 10 points for Liberty-Benton (13-0) in its win. Nicole Kaufman’s nine points led Kalida (7-7).

Parkway 53
Mississinawa Valley 45

Becca Harshman’s 18 points led Parkway to a non-league win. Maddie Murphy had 17 points for Mississinawa Valley.

Boys
Bath 47
Marion Harding 40

Brad Davis scored 24 points and Nate Heffner scored 12 points for Bath (10-3) in its non-league win. It was the seventh win in a row for the Wildcats.

Trey Kinney scored 13 points and Delayce Smith had 11 points for Marion Harding (4-10). The Presidents have lost five games in a row.

Versailles 57
Coldwater 40

Mitchell Campbell scored 15 points and pulled down eight rebounds for Versailles (11-1, 3-1 Midwest Athletic Conference). Chad Winner and Kyle Ahrens scored 12 points each for the Tigers.

Austin Bruns had 16 points for Coldwater (4-7, 1-3 MAC).
